First Burn:
Most of us ignore the simplest yet the most significant step of a procedure. When we light up a candle for the very 1st time you are supposed to let it burn until the top wax layer is completely melted. This is really important if you want a healthy candle burn in the coming days. Failing to follow this crucial step may cause the candle to create tunnels. The time taken for this process may vary from candle brand to brand and even within the same company when it comes to different sizes of jars and the wicks material used to make the candle.
Trimming:
Trimming is necessary to maintain a healthy candle flame. A healthy flame means efficient wax burn. This means a longer candle run. Failing to trim the candle before the next burn may cause the candle wick to perform a Mushroom head. Mushroom heads will often create large flames which may cause the candle to catch fire.
